The Basic Concierge Service will help you plan and prepare for your trip to Japan.  You will be teamed with a personal concierge who will provide full personalized help for your trip to Japan which includes itineraries, information on train transfers, recommendations on locations to stay, how to attend events you wish to attend, and how to find items you wish to purchase.

Cost

The Basic Concierge Package starts at 10,000 Yen.  Additional packages can be purchased.

Number of Participants

If you are travelling in a group, we will provide Concierge Advice based on the group travelling together.  If you wish to have separate itineraries, you can share the service but each separate itinerary is considered a full day of travel planning.

Currently, all payments for the Basic Concierge Package must be made in advance via PayPal.

How it works

Please contact us directly via e-mail.  All contact will be done via e-mail and any maps and other information will be shared via e-mail.  If you require voice or video conferencing, it can be done upon request.  Our concierges are based in Japan but we will do our best to accommodate you and reply in a timely manner.

Our concierges do not provide services to purchase any tickets for you.  We can provide information on what to do as well as more detailed information with our Welcome Package Add-on.

The Narita Airport Concierge Service includes personal pickup from Narita Airport and transfers to your hotel within central Tokyo.  Travel between the airport and your hotel will involve public transportation.  If you require any assistance at the airport, we will help you meet your needs as well as get you acquainted with your hotel’s surrounding area.

The Narita Concierge Service costs 25,000 Yen for service within central Tokyo (*).  For services to other areas such as Yokohama, please inquire.

If you require an extra body in your meeting, our concierge can also attend meetings as a silent guest.

The time in your meetings will be counted towards the time with your concierge.

The Day Trip Concierge Service is designed to help you get to distant locations from central Tokyo.  This service is designed to help you get to your destination and enjoy it.  Our concierges take the stress of making connections and planning the trip away from you so you can enjoy the experience.

Cost

The Day Trip Concierge Service varies depending on the destination and the method of transportation.  Our concierges charge a minimum 20,000 Yen per day for the first 8 hours of the trip.  Full quotes will be given at least 24 hours prior to your arrival in Japan.

Day trips are often longer than 8 hours.  Each additional hour is 2,000 Yen.  HinoMaple concierges will discuss the total timing with you prior to your day trip.  HinoMaple concierges will not charge you for any time beyond the predetermined period without getting your consent.

You are responsible for the concierge’s transportation fees.  Concierges will include the transportation fee within the final quote.  It is based on the agreed upon travel arrangements utilizing public transportation.

Your personal concierge will contact you after you make your initial inquiry.  They will discuss with you the best method to get to your destination based on your needs.  They will also discuss the amounts of time required to do the activities you request.  Upon determining the schedule, our concierges will give you a quote at which time you are free to cancel if you deem the service unnecessary.

If necessary, our concierges will meet with you prior to the day trip in order to get tickets for the trip.  This is only required during high season.

The Day Trip Concierge Package begins at the agreed upon meeting location at the agreed upon time.

For an extra 2,500 Yen per day, you can extend the any Concierge Package for help with your travel planning in Japan for as many travel planning days as you wish.  If you have a 10 day trip to Japan and 2 days of planning are covered by your Concierge Package, you can extend the planning help for an extra 20,000 Yen for the remaining 8 days.

The number of days you choose to extend the package is based on your group travelling together.  As a group you can purchase extra days in order to accommodate separate itineraries.

*A group is a group of people travelling together.  All parties in the group must be travelling together for the majority of their time in Japan in order to qualify as a group.

The Welcome Package Add-on is a special welcome package to help you prepare for your first few days in Tokyo.  The package will include a map of Tokyo, a subway map, instructions for train attendants to help you purchase long distance travel tickets for your journey, and information on how to purchase tickets for various events in Tokyo.

All packages will be delivered to your hotel on the day of your arrival.  All packages should arrive within 24 hours of your flight’s arrival, although almost all packages should be delivered prior to your check-in.  Your personal concierge will inform you of the date and time the package will be delivered.

Cost

The Welcome Package Add-on costs 2000 yen for up to 4 people and can only be purchased if you are purchasing any Concierge Service.

If you are only purchasing the Basic Concierge Package, the Extended Concierge Package must be purchased for the majority of your stay in Japan in order to be eligible to purchase the Welcome Package Add-on.
